Atelier Mae – An Intimate Shibari Space​

Located in the heart of Namur, Atelier Mae is a space designed to accommodate the practice of shibari in a warm, safe, and inspiring setting. Carefully designed throughout, this intimate space combines aesthetics, comfort, and functionality to offer an experience conducive to connection, creativity, and exploration. The space's captivating urban design, floral decor, natural materials, soft textures, and plant arrangements invite calm and contemplation. During the day, dazzling light floods the studio thanks to its large bay window and skylights, while in the evening, subdued and intimate lighting transforms the atmosphere for a more enveloping practice.

Available for rental, the workshop lends itself to various uses:

• Private Jams - An ideal place to meet up with enthusiasts, in a respectful and caring atmosphere, to freely practice shibari.

• Photoshoots & Filming - With its natural light, refined ambiance, and discreet installations, the workshop offers a visually striking setting to enhance your visual creations.

• Private Sessions - For classes, coaching, or private moments for two, the space adapts to all configurations in complete confidentiality.

Technical and logistical specifications:

• Capacity: 80 people standing, 60 people seated.

• A tea room accessible from the mezzanine.

• Unisex restrooms and a small adjoining changing room.

• A first aid kit is available on site.

• Beverage, tea, and coffee packages are available upon request.

• Cleaning package available upon request / possibility to clean/prepare your event yourself.

• Numerous suspension points, bamboo poles, lanyards, and carabiners are available.

• Our mats and tatami mats are available.

• Accessories: microwave, refrigerator, fans (upon request), Bluetooth speakers, blankets, and cushions.

• A user-friendly guide to the facilities is available upon entering the venue.

• In the event of photos, photoshoots, or videos, Atelier Mae must be credited in all content published online.
