REGISTRATION

By booking a ticket for one of our events, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you have any concerns about the clauses listed below or disagree with the distribution of risk mentioned here, please do not book tickets.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you and all participants are 18 years of age or older at the time of booking.

PAYMENT

Please note that your reservation is legally binding. We will reserve a place for you, and in return, you must pay the full amount of the fees.

All events must be paid in full during the booking process. Payments can be made via Bancontact, Visa, or Mastercard. It may sometimes be possible, subject to prior agreement with the organizers, to reserve a ticket verbally and pay via a bank transfer to the account provided by the organizers.

CANCELLATION

Below is the cancellation policy that applies to all our events, including but not limited to rope jams, workshops, classes, and trainings.

Please note:

• Tickets are neither refundable nor transferable to another date.

• Tickets may be transferred to another person under certain conditions (see below).

• The legal right of withdrawal does not apply.

WHAT IF I GET SICK?

Let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to help you find someone to take over your ticket. However, the chances of finding a replacement less than 24 hours before the event are slim.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?

As with illness, please notify us as early as possible. Whatever the reason, we will do our best to assist you.

WHAT IF I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE MY PLACE?

Contact us first and never purchase or transfer a ticket without our prior approval. To ensure the quality of our events, we would like to verify whether this person is a suitable participant for the event in question.

HOW CAN ATELIER MAE HELP YOU?

We keep waiting lists in order to contact interested individuals. The sooner you cancel, the more likely we can help you find an appropriate replacement.

RESCHEDULING & FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any delay or failure to fulfill any of our obligations if such delay or failure results from events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to epidemics, government restrictions, fire, accidents, equipment failure, or war.

We reserve the right to reschedule the event in case of insufficient registrations or illness of the facilitators.

INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT

You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right to exclude you from the event if we determine that your participation or behavior causes a disruption or interferes with the event or the enjoyment of other participants. We may also exclude any potential participant from future events or registrations.

LIABILITY

Some activities at our events may be inherently dangerous. As such, Atelier Mae and its volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or expense incurred by you or any other person participating in the event arising from activities outside the designated space (the indoor area of Atelier Mae).

GOVERNING LAW

These general terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Belgian law. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, in particular those of Namur.

INSURANCE AND PARTICIPANT IDENTIFICATION

The purchase of a ticket automatically enrolls the buyer as a person covered under the insurance policy taken out by the organizing ASBL. This coverage falls within the scope of the ASBL’s declared activities and becomes effective upon confirmation of the purchase. The ticket price includes, without additional charge, a contribution to said insurance, which covers risks related to the events offered by the provider.

The buyer agrees to provide their real and full identity at the time of purchase, as it appears on an official identification document. If a pseudonym, nickname, or any other false or incorrect identity is used, insurance coverage cannot be guaranteed. In such cases, any consequences or damages occurring during the event shall be borne solely by the person concerned, without any recourse against the ASBL or its insurer.
