About the event
Come and continue your shibari training!
Through a 3-hour course that explores the ties of a style of moving rope, we will humbly invite you to discover the different aspects related to the discipline of shibari: review of patterns, introduction to suspension lines, work around the mechanics of the body, anatomical reminders, consent and safety of each (rigger as model) will be at the center of this afternoon course oriented around semi-suspension.
What is shibari? What skills does it offer?
Shibari is a discipline that involves tying people together with ropes. Closely linked to the concept of bondage and the sexuality it implies, shibari can also be an opportunity for consensual play that fosters trust, emotional connection, and moments of challenge and self-discovery within the rope. It is this development that we choose to explore here at Atelier Mae. Our rope practice is intended to be "neutral" in the sense…
