About the event

Come and discover the foundations of shibari

Through a 3-hour course that explores the basics of ties and a style of rope movement, we will humbly invite you to discover the different aspects related to the practice of ropes: presentation of the discipline, anatomical reminders, consent and safety of each person (rigger as model) will be at the center of this introductory afternoon, not forgetting of course many exercises around the first ties and patterns.

What is shibari? What skills does it offer?

Shibari is a discipline that involves tying people together with ropes. Closely linked to the concept of bondage and the sexuality it implies, shibari can also be an opportunity for consensual play that fosters trust, emotional connection, and moments of challenge and self-discovery within the rope. It is this development that we choose to explore here at Atelier Mae. Our rope practice is intended to be "neutral"…
