What is shibari? What training is offered?

It is the art of tying people up with ropes. Closely linked to the concept of bondage and the sexuality it implies, shibari can also be an opportunity for always consensual games allowing the development of trust, an emotional bond or even moments of challenge and self-improvement at the heart of the rope. It is this development that we choose to explore here at Atelier Mae. Our rope practice is intended to be "neutral" in the sense that it is free of sexuality and BDSM-oriented games.
