About the event
Come continue your shibari training!
Through a 3-hour course that explores the ties of a style of ropes in movement, we will invite you, in all humility, to discover the different aspects relating to the art of tying people: review of patterns, initiation to suspension lines, work around body mechanics, anatomical reminders, consent and safety of each person (rigger as model) will be at the center of this afternoon of lessons.
What is shibari? What training is offered?
Shibari is the art of tying people up with ropes. Closely linked to the concept of bondage and the sexuality it implies, shibari can also be an opportunity for consensual play that allows for the development of trust, an emotional connection, or even moments of challenge and self-improvement at the heart of the rope. It is this development that we choose to explore here at Atelier Mae.
Our rope practice is intended…
