May Dosem at Atelier Mae - D1: shibari workshop on the ground - intensify your practice

About

A day to deepen your knowledge of shibari on the ground and intensify your practice. The objective of this workshop is to learn to use pure technique and to mix elements of play in the ropes to result in complete and intense sessions on the ground.

The program

•  Body management: being comfortable with taking charge of another's body is a basic key to successful floor sessions. Some simple techniques will be shown and everyone will be able to make them their own.
• Exploration around the TK: we will study how this harness offers numerous opportunities to build a connection with one's partner and we will learn concrete techniques for playing during its construction.
• Symbolic attachments: we will see some principles of attachments considered “torturous” due to the sensations provided as much as by their evocative power.
• Carrying out a semenawa session on the floor: the teachers will propose a session outline that everyone will be invited to reproduce or make their own.
• Minimalist attachments: we will make torso and leg harnesses whose attachment does not require much more than one rope, with a view to simple and effective exhibition and immobilization play.

There will be a meal break of around 50 minutes around 1 p.m., remember to bring your own food or buy a meal ticket on site! Certified homemade, organic and local lunch (possibility of vegan meals also)

Prerequisites:

- Master a single column tie

- Know the main building elements of shibari (counter tension, friction, half key)

- Have your own set of at least 4 ropes and a rope cutter. Also having a few shorter ropes can be very useful.

She has been practicing shibari since 2015 and has been taught by several instructors in a wide variety of styles, both on the ground and in suspension. Particularly passionate about the role of tyer, she quickly devoted herself to teaching and performance. May previously followed artistic training and worked in the field of sculpture, a world whose issues and concerns always accompany her. His approach starts from a vision of shibari as a meeting ground between erotic emotion and aesthetic emotion. This practice allows him to combine his taste for creative research and for the complex relational dimension enabled by BDSM through photography and performance but also the construction of educational content. May is co-creator of the Port d’attaches association which has organized numerous events around the practice of shibari in Paris since 2019.

• Pavese (he)

Attached and attached at a very sustained pace since 2017, Pavese was first a student of the other founders of Port d'attaches. He closely follows ropes news around the world, with a keen interest in all initiatives that spread knowledge or better protect practitioners. Pavese is also one of the co-creators and teachers of Port d’attaches.

Outfit and Material

• To be comfortable during these two classes, an outfit in which you feel good and in which you are free to move is essential. Remember to take a little sweater!
• Your set of minimum four ropes + scissors or rope cutters. Some loaner ropes and rope cutters will be made available to supplement if necessary.

Catering card-

Throughout the afternoon, certified homemade, organic and local sweet and savory snacks (some of which are vegan) will be offered to you, accompanied by tea and infusions.
