Exploring the Kanna style: ground and partials without TK

This is an intensive one-day workshop for pairs who wish to discover the Kanna style through the exploration of various ground and partial (semi-suspension) ties. This workshop is for both tyers and those being tied who already have some experience (see prerequisites below). The content will be adapted to the group.

This workshop is an introduction to semenawa according to Akechi Kanna, applied to a variety of erotic and restraining ties that go beyond TK. The aim is to create a playful and inquisitive environment that allows for the exploration of the complexity of this style, which is restrictive, involves complete control of the body, and often plays with breathing.

We will explore various ground holds and partial suspensions, as well as some of the signature holds of Nawashi Akechi Kanna. We will also explore holds without a takate kote (TK).…
