Eric (he/him)
Co-manager of Atelier Mae in Namur alongside his wife and partner Laurianne, Eric immersed himself in shibari a little over five years ago. Movement, the sharing of emotions—sometimes intense, sometimes subtle—and the contortion of bodies are aspects that resonate deeply with his practice. He primarily operates as a rigger, continuing his journey within the world of rope.
Laurianne (she/her)
A professional musician turned nurse, Laurianne discovered through shibari a way to touch the soul—both through its artistic nature and the emotions and intimacy it evokes. Inspired by the way ropes dance and move, she continues to explore her path as a model and, more recently, as a rigger. Together with her husband and partner Eric, she co-manages Atelier Mae in Namur.
Juliette (she/her) & Raphaël (he/him)
Juliette and Raphaël engage in a shibari practice rooted in improvisation, movement, and structured chaos, but above all, in questioning the dynamics that unfold between two individuals during this encounter of intimacy, bodies, and ropes. Together, they reflect on how to experience and explore their connection through shibari, aiming to share the insights they have developed as a duo.
